
Salih Karasu graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Food Engineering in 2007, and started his master's degree in Erciyes University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Food Engineering in the same year. He completed his master's degree in 2009 with his thesis named "Optimizing the rheological properties of edible vegetable oil milk ice". Salih Karasu, who started in 2010 at Namık Kemal University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Food Engineering, completed his doctorate in 2015 with his thesis on Determining the quality characteristics of salad dressings produced using cold pressed oils. Salih Karasu, who started his career at Kırklareli University Vocational School of Technical Sciences in 2009, was appointed as a Research Assistant at Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Chemical Metallurgy, Food Engineering Department in 2013. Salih Karasu has 36 SCI-E articles, 5 international book chapters, and more than 50 national and international papers. In addition, Salih Karasu, who worked as a researcher in 2 TAGEM and 3 TUBITAK comprehensive projects, supervised 2 doctorate and 4 master's thesis studies. Currently, Associate Professor at YTU Faculty of Chemistry and Metallurgy, Department of Food Engineering. Dr. Salih Karasu has been teaching at Istinye University since 2019.
